The Government of Manipur, on July 15, 2025, amended the Rules of Business of the Government of Manipur, 2025, in exercise of the powers under Article 166(3) of the Constitution of India, pursuant to the Governor-in-Council's decision dated July 11, 2025. The amendment inserts a new entry, "(xvi) All Matters Relating to Manipur Staff Selection Commission", under Schedule Head No. 25 – Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department in the Schedule to the Rules of Business of the Government of Manipur, 2025.
This amendment formally assigns all matters relating to the Manipur Staff Selection Commission (MSSC) to the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, thereby clarifying the administrative responsibility for the Commission within the State Government.
